Seminars & Workshops

IWCA provides up to three free seminars or underwrites costs of seminars up to $200 each year. Seminars cover a variety of subjects such as the carving of wood, cork and other materials, painting simple working decoys to techniques for advanced decorative carvings. Well-known carvers who compete regularly throughout the U.S. and Canada conduct all seminars.

 

Youth Instructor Grants

Individual member donations have allowed IWCA to provide Youth Instructor Grants each year. These grants are intended to help under-write the cost of providing carving and painting instruction to our youth. Successful applicants will receive up to $200.
