Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 12:04PM The IWCA is an organization managed by volunteer board members who have been elected and by appointed members in several important positions. Currently there are several appointed positions in need of filling. The IWCA would like to invite you to get involved and consider filling one of these open positions, and help in bringing the IWCA to the future generations of wildfowl carvers. Every job is important and necessary in insuring the burden is not carried by only a few.
Please take the time to review the needs of the organization and consider your own skills and what you might be able to offer the IWCA in its efforts.
You are needed and we hope you will consider joining the team of volunteers working to promote wildfowl carving to new levels.

Monday, February 24, 2014 at 7:46AM The Ohio Decoy Collectors & Carvers Show and Auction will held in Strongsville, OH on March 8th & 9th at the Holiday Inn (ARPT). The ODCCA has been an Affiliate Member of the IWCA for many years, and will host the 2014 IWCA Style Shorebird Championship.
There are no qualifications necessary to compete in the championship. The awards for Best of Show are as follows:
1st IWCA Style Shorebird - Best of Show $200
2nd IWCA Style Shorebird - Best of Show $100
3rd IWCA Style Shorebird - Best of Show $ 50

Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 6:04PM This past weekend, 14-Feb, at the California Open Wildlife Festival, the Decorative Caver of the Year awards were presented during Friday night's banquet. Gary De Cew, president of PSWA, presented the awards to the winners.
Bob Mathews and Tom Goddard won the Intermediate and Novice Decorative Carver of the Year awards respectively. It takes quite a few wins and a real commitment to competition to win this award. Congratulations Bob and Tom, you've earned it.
